Colors and Interior Design

We live surrounded by colors, shadows and light. Each tone and sometimes not even notice it, influences our mood, each color has a meaning and intertwines with our mood. There is nothing arbitrary in this world, all is harmony. Have you noticed? Some days I feel like wearing black and days that you want to add color to your life, increase the use of an orange cap or lime green scarf, evening dress or a dark red mysterious. You can choose the colors of their costumes according to your mood and change as often as you want but can not change the colors of a room so easily. When you begin decorating a room is very important to choose the right colors.

Interior designers use a color wheel to choose colors and tones that match. You should know that there are active colors (like red and yellow), passive color (blue, green and purple) and neutral colors (white, black, gray, beige and brown). It is very important that you know how each of these color groups can influence quarter. For example, warm colors tend to stand out, neutral, as its name implies, are ….. neutral, soft colors and a passive atmosphere.

You must find a way to balance the colors to create the mood you want. You want a room full of energy, use of orange. You want passion – red is the answer. Want to relax – make blue. So let’s see what each color, the colors are not given the same meaning throughout the world.

Red is the color of the passionate love of many: the red rose, a red box of chocolates on Valentine’s Day, a red heart, but in South Africa, red signifies mourning. The red color is also more common in national flags. This is because in ancient times flags were usually used on the battlefield and red gave the signal for battle. Red is also the color of blood – Easter eggs red symbolizes the blood of Christ and good luck. Red is also good luck in China, which is also used as the color of the wedding. If you like red, creating an interior with a subject of China is a perfect choice.

Green is the color of nature. It’s everywhere: in the trees, grass and even some fruits. It relaxes and inspires. In the old green was the color of honor and victory. In Ireland, this is still the color of luck. Choose an Irish theme if you like dark green. Blue is the most common color used in interior decoration – it relaxes and refreshes, it provides a sense of security. This should not be a surprise: as you know blue is also the color of police uniforms. If you choose blue for your home, you can not go wrong. However, the color blue is a cold, then the equilibrium with orange or yellow.

Purple is a royal color. In ancient times purple was difficult to obtain – the color is extracted from the purple snails. This is also the color of inspiration, so if you’re an artist, a room with purple details could stimulate your mind. Because purple is believed to help children develop imagination, often used to decorate children’s rooms.
